To create a company focused on the importation of wood and various commodities used by the RV, Bus, Cargo & Cabinet industries. With a concentration of supply materials for manufactures near Elkhart IN and expanding throughout the Midwest+.
By utilizing current relationships with various importers & manufacturers we will source more materials to the Elkhart area to offset the current lack of quality or supply. Both importers & exporters are demanding stronger partnerships and better communication. We feel like there is a gap from smaller woodworking companies and larger export/import company’s. We feel DTI Products can bridge this gap and create supply chains for long term growth.
By focusing on the current quality standards and niche gaps in the marketplace we feel like the market is growing faster than the supply. We look for new mills and opportunities in the supply chain to better supply the US market.
This same focus will be used to recruit importer and transportation means while capitalizing on existing relationships with local agents. We can outperform current industry pricing, while dealing with mills, manufacturers, importers and exporters for quality and efficiency to provide a better product.
Nate Rhoden
Nate Rhoden has over 25 years in the distribution/manufacturing industries and has held leadership positions at, Tech Data, Cequent Group , North American Forest Products & Genesis Products Inc. Nate has lead the creation of Core Wood Components and Fusion Wood Products and had ownership in both. Nate has a background in distribution, transportation management, lean manufacturing, lamination, and supply chain management. He has developed teams, implemented budgets, set standard, configured and implemented MRP and ERP, created custom equipment, PROCESSES leading to company growth and profits. He is considered an expert in his field.
Jason Fobear
Jason Fobear has 30 years’ experience in manufacturing, business development, product development and engineering. Has held leadership positions in various locations in the US in Plant management, Sales, General Manager, and Director of Manufacturing. Jason has served in the following industries: recreational vehicle industry, mobile home, modular, kitchen cabinets, lumber processing, and commercial millwork. Over the years Jason has led complete plant startups, equipment acquisitions, and designed layouts. Jason strengths are in innovative products and solutions, lean manufacturing, networking, leadership, quality, and process improvement.
